RainTeam encourages you to share your visions and goals with someone you have regular contact with.  This can motivate you to reach your goals and provide you with an accountability partner who can help keep you on track, and confront you if you start to derail.  It can seem daunting to let someone else in on your journey, especially if it’s still new to you, but it could really help keep you focused in the long run. Here are some topics to get you started:

  • Fun - Explain the activities that you want to avoid going forward, and offer ideas of activities that are in line with your goals.

  • Fellowship - Encourage them to join you in living a lifestyle that is more conducive to their overall health.

  • Fitness - Set out your goals for fitting fitness into your life, and let them know if they can help you make that happen.

  • Food - Discuss your plans for meeting your nutritional needs, while avoiding foods and beverages that are detrimental to your health.  Identify restaurants or food items that are inline with your goals to make avoiding the junk easier when you’re around that person.

  • Finance - You don’t have to go into too much detail about your financial situation to convey your budgeting plans for the future.  Discussing your goals will help them avoid leading you down the rabbit hole.
