This Week’s RainTask

Drinking enough water from day to day is vital to your health.  Not only does it help you keep up your youthful glow, it also plays a major role in healing and disease prevention.  RainTeam recommends daily water intake as follows:

Women - Four to seven cups (32oz to 56oz)

Men - Six to eleven cups (48oz to 88oz)

These figures take into consideration the water you consume from food, and the water your body produces on its own.  You can count the water from your coffee or tea towards meeting your goal, but most alcoholic beverages actually dehydrate you.

If you’re finding it hard to drink enough water, try the following tips:

  • Try sparkling water - The bubbles may make it more appealing and the carbonation might actually help your gut!

  • Add fresh fruit or veggies - Infuse your water with some extra flavor

  • Try cold brewing your tea - Add green, white, black, or herbal tea bags to a glass of water and let it sit in the fridge overnight

  • Try a reusable straw - Using a straw can help you take in more water than you would without a straw by making it easier to drink
